SILLY STUFF

My parents picked my first name from an atlas having never been to Savannah, Ga. When I was 16 we all visited and, much to my surprise, I fell in love with the Southeast. I ended up living there for a decade.

My grandpa decided to change his last name in the 1940s. He opened a phonebook to the page his then last name was on and picked a new name near it that he liked. Both my first and last name are happenstance.

I have only ever lived in cities that start with the letter A. Right now I live in Austin, TX.
